Camino Francés
The most-walked of all the Caminos. Beginning in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at the foot of the French Pyrenees and crossing five regions to Santiago de Compostela, the Francés blends Romanesque cathedrals, vineyards, the high meseta, and oak-lined Galician valleys.

Camino Primitivo
The oldest of all the Caminos. First walked by King Alfonso II of Asturias in the 9th century, the Primitivo climbs from the pre-Romanesque churches of Oviedo over the Cantabrian mountains and into Galicia, joining the Francés at Melide for the final push into Santiago.
